- Jim Louderback is among the most respected figures in digital media with a 20-year history of leadership at the intersection of digital media, experiential events and technology.
- He currently runs experiential business VidCon as an independent division of Viacom. Jim joined VidCon in 2014 as editorial director of the industry track, and took over as CEO in 2017. in early 2018 he led the sale of VidCon to Viacom. He is also a Venture Partner at seed investment firm Social Starts and recently did extensive consulting with a variety of top tech and media companies.
- Throughout his career, Jim has earned a reputation as a visionary who excels at leading startups, growth businesses and turnarounds. His most well-known role prior to VidCon was as CEO of Revision3, where he helped drive a 20x increase in viewers and a 12x increase in revenue beginning in 2007. In 2012, Jim sold Revision3 to Discovery Communications where he remained as General Manager, transforming the group into Discovery Digital Networks. Prior to Revision3, He was Senior Vice President and Chief Content Officer for Ziff Davis Media’s Consumer group and Editor in Chief of many of the publisher’s titles including PC Magazine. He also helped launch cable network ZDTV and guide its transition to TechTV.

After two years he moved to the headquarters of the renowned Dutch semiconductor company ASML to solve software issues on ASML’s lithography machines at customers’ sites and to set requirements for future software updates and releases. In 2004, he was dispatched to the local ASML office in Korea. He became a mediator between HQ and the local office regarding software issues on the ASML machines.
- Since 2006, Peter has been working at the Netherlands Embassy in Korea as Senior Officer for Innovation, Technology & Science. In this function, he is a technology trend watcher and matchmaker, and intermediary between Dutch and Korean innovative companies, universities and R&D-institutes by organizing seminars, meetings and matchmakings for delegations to and from the Netherlands. Focus areas are semiconductor, startups, smart city, energy and high tech industry.
- During his years in Korea, Peter has taken some effort to try to master the Korean language. In his free time, he likes to run marathons.
